A Special Note from Bryan & Chris

We’re the dog dads to two of the most famous corgi’s in the world.

We both have red hair (well, Bryan is actually Strawberry Blond), and we found out recently that we drive the same car. The same…exact…car. Same color too.

It’s pretty strange that we went through 33 years of life never having met, until one afternoon in Las Vegas in 2022.  We knew of each other through social media, but had never met. Bryan was in town for work with Maxine, so Chris stopped by with Olivia on his back (in her Little Chonk backpack), and Hammy of course was barking on the ground. 

And the best part? 

Chris literally DANCED his way to Bryan in excitement (Bryan: I’ll never forget the smile on Chris’ face…NOBODY has energy like Chris…)

It was like two long-lost brothers meeting for the first time. For the next few hours, we ran all over Las Vegas like kids in a candy shop making content together and just talking.

And from that day forward, we’ve been best friends. We both share a love of our pets (obvi), and we both care deeply about the communities we’ve built.  We care about the pet industry, what other brands are doing, and how they’re doing it.  

What will the future for the pet industry look like? Well, we’re in a unique position to be able to influence the answer to that question, and that’s why we started this newsletter. We started Dog Juice so we could have a forum to discuss everything that we already discuss with each other everyday via text.  We just want the best for our pets, and we want to share what we know with the rest of the world.

What’s the other side of that coin?  We like to celebrate our pets. That’s really a nicer way of saying we love a good party.  So that’s why we recently announced that together, Chris and I, and Maxine and Hammy are going to be throwing the MOST EPIC DOG PARTY the world has ever seen.

In partnership with Jazwares Pets and powered by Bark Social, we proudly present:

This will be a locally-curated, weekend-long block party at one of our favorite dog-friendly venues in the world, Bark Social.

Why are we doing this?

Because for years, Chris and I shared ourselves and our pets with the world, and never had the opportunity to meet in real life. And then once we met, we each felt like we finally found someone who understood just how bonkers we are about our pets.  So that’s what we want to do.  We want to meet all of you, and meet all of your pets, and celebrate together.

Philadelphia will be the first stop on what we hope will be a country-wide tour of Chonkfests around the nation.

Tickets are very limited due to the capacity of the venue.  But because you’re reading this newsletter, that means you’re a part of this very special Dog Juice community — so we’ve released this tickets early (they go on sale for everyone else today at 9am).
